“As an expression of our love and support, friends of Dan and Barbie DeMoss are holding a day of benefit for them.
The benefit will take place at Charlie’s Chicken in Owasso Thursday, January 30th from 10:30am – 9pm. 20% of sales will be donated to Barbie and Dan.
Barbie, the most dedicated teacher, and sweetest person you could ever meet has been using sick days since the beginning of the school year to care for Dan. Dan has been battling leukemia for around 12 years. Barbie will be out of sick leave in 3 days. There are many more details, but basically they will very soon have practically no income.
This fundraiser/benefit is one way we would like to help. I would greatly appreciate you passing along this benefit information, and also by eating at Charlie’s Chicken, or stopping by there to drop off a donation Thursday if possible.”
