The National Weather Service in Tulsa is calling for another shot of cold air, that will arrive by Saturday night.
It is expected to bring with it a decent shot of accumulating snow, mainly north of I-40 Saturday night into Sunday morning. The heavier amounts will likely be over far Northeast Oklahoma into Northwest Arkansas where 2 to 5 inches of storm total snow accumulation is expected.
A secondary surge of very cold arctic air arrives Sunday night with some single digit lows likely both Monday and Tuesday mornings. Dangerously cold wind chill values are forecast in the -10 to -20 degree range north of Interstate 40 Monday morning
