M E HelmMarjorie Ella Helm was born January 15, 1926, in Trenton, Missouri, to James Preston and Sadie Margaret (Turner) Cobb. She died Friday, September 15, 2017, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 91 years. Marjorie was reared and educated in Trenton, Missouri, and was a graduate of Trenton High School. She was married April 19, 1947, in St. Joseph, Missouri, to Francis Earl Helm. She spent much of her working life as an administrative assistant with several companies including Pullman Company in Kansas City, Great Lake Pipeline, Nicor Drilling in Tulsa, The City of Tulsa Parks and Recreation Department, and Woolco. She had attended the First United Methodist Church in Owasso and Airport Free Will Baptist in Tulsa. Marjorie enjoyed a variety of pastimes including reading and playing Bingo. Most important in her life was her family.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2017, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Danny Phillips officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
