R D CranmerRaymond Dale Cranmer was born May 8, 1926 in Wakita, Oklahoma and to Samuel Flemmy Cranmer and Ruthie Belle (Bebout) Cranmer. He passed from this life Saturday, March 17, 2018, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 91 years. Dale was raised and educated in Wakita, Oklahoma and graduated with the Gore High School Class of 1944. He was married May 27, 1947 to Margaret Evelyn (Mills) Cranmer. After Margaret passed on October 5, 1985, Dale later remarried to Bernadine (Utterback) Cranmer. He spent most of his working life as a supervisor for Hughes Aircraft, being employed there for over 30 years. Dale was a man of faith and attended St. Norbert Catholic Church in Orange, California most of his life. He was an avid farmer when he was younger and moved to Caldwell, Kansas 26 years ago so he could revisit his passion for farming. It was in Caldwell where he met and married Bernadine on August 13, 1994. Then, in 2008 they moved to Owasso, and began attending St. Henry Catholic Church. Dale enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as farming, golfing, collecting donkeys, working on old cars, and coaching little league baseball.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Ruthie, first wife, Margaret, 4 brothers, Ed, Ernie, Ira, and Russell, and 2 sisters, Ruth and Ruby.
 
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with a Rosary staring at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018 at St. Henry Catholic Church in Owasso with Father Matt La Chance officiating. Interment will be held later at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Orange, California. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service.
