Dianna Marie Yates was born on March 23, 1955, in Colgate, Oklahoma to Jack Bailey Parks and Mary Ann (Zuech) Parks. She passed from this life on Thursday, July 20, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 68 years. Dianna was reared and educated in Owasso, Oklahoma and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1972. She continued her education at the University of Tulsa. She was married on August 17, 1974, in Owasso to Charles Yates. Dianna spent most of her working life as a Histologist with St. Warren Medical Research. She was a strong woman of faith and longtime faithful member of St. Benedict Catholic Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. In her spare time, Dianna enjoyed a variety of past times such as attending bible studies, participating in prayer circle, leading grief support, and crocheting. She was particularly fond of her role as “Grammin”.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, mother, Mary Ann, and her brother, Vincent.
A Rosary with be held 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at St. Henry Catholic Church in Owasso. A funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at St. Henry Catholic Church in Owasso with Father Matt LaChance officiating. Final resting place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
