Carley Raymond Kendall, Jr., was born November 2, 1950, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, to Carley Raymond Kendall, Sr., and Mary Frances Boston Kendall. He died Monday, June 30, 2025, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 74 years. Carley was reared and educated in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was a graduate of Central High School. He continued his education attending OSU Tech in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
Carley spent most of his professional career with C.L. Boyd, Burris Equipment, but mostly with Tulsa Gas Technologies where he wore many hats covering many areas. He was a strong man of faith and attended Friendship Baptist Church in Owasso where he was active with the Primetimers Sunday School class. He enjoyed a variety of pastimes including fishing, and was known to have a green thumb and grow anything. Carley was an avid dirt track racing fan and spent much time at the Tulsa Speedway where he was a speedway photographer. This allowed him to develop many friendships with the drivers and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carley Sr. and Mary Kendall, and sisters Donna Bazis and Rebecca Thomas.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Jarrod Kendall officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner, Oklahoma. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Carley’s memory to the Donnie Ray Crawford Legacy Foundation, www.donnieraycrawford.com.
