09/15/2025 – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal collision that occurred early Saturday morning, September 13, on US-169 near EW 300 in Rogers County.

According to OHP, the crash happened around 1:55 a.m. when a southbound vehicle crossed the center line and struck a northbound commercial vehicle. The driver of the southbound vehicle, identified as 39-year-old Wesston M. Legrand of Collinsville, was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers confirmed that Legrand was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision. His next of kin has been notified.

The driver of the northbound commercial vehicle, 59-year-old Petros A. Sargsyan of Sacramento, California, was transported for treatment of injuries. OHP reported he had been wearing his seatbelt.

The collision remains under investigation
