Beverly Ann McArthur was born September 7, 1937, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Elvyn Earl Claunch and Letha Marie Mock Claunch. She died Wednesday, October 22, 2025, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 88 years. Beverly completed her secondary education in Loyal, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Loyal High School Class of 1956. She was married June 20, 1958, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Walter Irving “Mack” McArthur. Beverly was a homemaker while raising her daughters and spent most of her professional career as a Senior Companion Coordinator with Reaching Hands. She was a strong woman of faith and was a longtime member of the Oologah United Methodist Church. She enjoyed singing in the choir and served as a Sunday School teacher. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and served as a Rainbow Mother Advisor.
Beverly enjoyed a variety of pastimes including sewing, planting flowers, but particularly painting. She dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren who affectionately knew her as “Mema” and “Mimi”.

Lisa Allison and husband James, of Verdigris, Oklahoma
Grandchildren; Erika Maclynn Marable and husband Jake, of Oologah, Oklahoma
Emilie Ann Harold and husband Tyler, of Oologah, Oklahoma
Jacob Thomas Allison, of Tulsa, Oklahoma
Noah James Allison, of Tulsa, Oklahoma
Great grandchildren; Adaline Rose Harold, Kyler Irving Harold,
and Ian Allen Marable, all of Oologah
Sister; Carol Jones and husband Jim, of Owasso, Oklahoma
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter “Mack” McArthur, parents, Elvyn and Aletha Claunch, sisters, Betty Jones and her husband Don, Barbara Kelley and her husband Jack, and brother, Jim Claunch.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2025, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel. Serving as casket bearers will be Lloyd Capps, Tyler Harold, Jake Marable, James Allison, Jacob Allison, and Noah Allison. Committal service and interment will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
