Alberta Clara WalkerAlberta Clara Walker was born August 5, 1935, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, to Alberta Canada and Alta Lou Roberts Wagers. She died Thursday, December 3, 2020, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 85 years. Alberta was reared and educated in Tahlequah and was a graduate of Tahlequah High School. She spent much of her working life as a homemaker and caring for her family. Throughout the years, she was also a childcare provider and developed longtime relationships. Alberta enjoyed a variety of pastimes, especially working in her yard and planting everything imaginable. She also decorated to the extreme for all the holidays. She was particularly fond of her role as “Granny” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Two sons; Mac Risenhoover and wife Glenda, of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma
Barb Risenhoover and wife Cheryl, of Collinsville, Oklahoma
Grandchildren; Crystal Cotner, of Muskogee, Oklahoma
Lindsay Hurst and Brandon, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma
Austin Risenhoover and wife Jillian, of Danville, California
Kacy Summers and husband Micah, of Collinsville, Oklahoma
Great grandchildren; Andrew Cotner, Cole and Lyric Hurst, Gracyn, Landon and Hudson Risenhoover and Mckade, Chisum and Charly Summers.
Sister; Soundra Brown, of Owasso, Oklahoma

Brothers; Cliff Wagers and wife Edris, of Sweet Home, Oregon
Roxie Wagers, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma
Great niece Pepper Rose Brown who shared a special bond with her Aunt Berta and numerous other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, loving companion, Grover Davenport, and brother, Chock Wagers.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2020, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Kevin Laufer officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Tyler Wagers, Rocky Wagers, Cole Hurst, Kash Brown, Kord Brown, and Micah Summers. Committal service and interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
