Arleta GilroyArleta Ann Gilroy was born February 15, 1941, in Appleton City, Missouri, to Clarence Reed and Opal Collene Miller Allison. She died Wednesday, November 18, 2020, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 79 years. Arleta spent much of her working life in production control for Beach Aircraft and McDonnell Douglas Aircraft. She also owned and operated Ron’s Bait Shop in Oologah, Oklahoma. Arleta was married April 2, 1990, in Vinita, Oklahoma, to Charles J. Gilroy. She was strong in her faith and was a longtime faithful member of Shelter Free Will Baptist Church in Collinsville, Oklahoma. She was an accomplished painter and painted numerous painting for friends and family members over the years. She also enjoyed spending time in her garden.

Children; Debra Franks, of Skiatook, Oklahoma
Cheri Lollman and husband Mike, of Midlothian, Texas
Four grandchildren and two great grandchildren
Sister; Barbara Willingham, of Skiatook
Brother; Vernon Bennett and wife Teresa, of Wichita, Kansas
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Billy Allison.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2020, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Herman Wood and Pastor Bill Adcock officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Timothy Velasquez, Shaun, Bentley, Delbert Chavis, Dustin Gorrell, Ken Hurley, and George Wilkie. Honorary casket bearer will be Glen Bevel. Committal service and interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso, Oklahoma. The family requests memorial contributions be made to St. John Hospice, 4720 South Harvard Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74135. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
