Spread the love
Beverly Ruth GarmanBeverly Ruth Garman, of Claremore, Oklahoma, was born on May 13, 1951, in Keetonville, Oklahoma, and left this earth to join her Father, Jesus Christ in her eternal Heavenly home on Monday October 17, 2022. She was 71 years young.
Beverly was the seventh of nine children born to Virgil C. Howard and Dorothy Etta Fidler Howard. She married the love of her life, Grover Paul Garman. They sealed their love in front of family and friends on November 24, 1973, at the United Pentecostal Church in Collinsville, Oklahoma.
Grover and Beverly first settled down as a married couple in Wagner, Oklahoma where they welcomed their first child, a daughter they named Andrea. They eventually moved to Claremore, not far from where Beverly was born, to be near family. It was here that they decided to build a home and make a life. They expanded their family adding two more daughters, Paula came first then just a few short years later came Brittany completing their family. It was here in this home that was built with love and the site of so many wonderful and funny memories that Beverly, surrounded by her children and her husband, decided it was time to finally join her Heavenly Father.
Beverly was an amazing daughter, a wonderful sister, a thoughtful friend, but most of all she was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Beverly and Grover would be celebrating their 49th wedding anniversary this November. All the pain, suffering and challenges she went through over these last ten months were a testament to her strength. She demonstrated just how fiercely she loved all of us by how she fought harder and longer than anyone in her situation could or would be able to handle. She would do anything for even one more day with her family just so they knew how much she loved them and to show how much they meant to her. .
Beverly strongly believed that in life the word family can mean a lot of things to a lot of people, but in the Garman household friends are family and family are friends. She was a “memaw”, “mother”, “aunt”, “and “friend” to so many people. . She took her last breath with dignity and grace, in the same manner that she lived her life.

Beverly is survived by her husband Grover of Claremore, OK; her daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Mike O’Dell of Owasso, OK; her daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Trent Monlux of Gillette, WY; her daughter and son-in-law, Brittany and Dustin Cole Province of Deer Creek, OK; along with 10 grandchildren: Aidan O’Dell, Anderson O’Dell, Jace Province, Ashton O’Dell, Myles Monlux, Cash Province, Max Monlux, Krew Province, Molly Monlux, Hayze Province along with a host of much loved family and friends.
