Billy Gene Crawford Sr. was born March 30, 1934, in Howards Ridge, Missouri, to Richard Crawford and Mable Sellers. He died Saturday, October 18, 2014, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 80 years. Billy attended Cherokee High School from where he then went on to enlist in the Army. He was married December 28, 1971, in Pryor, Oklahoma, to Teresa Young. Billy worked as the Chief of Maintenance for Boeing Aeronautics and retired after 41 years. He enjoyed going to the lake, fishing, telling jokes, and loved to play music and sing, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Loving family members include: Daughters and son-in-law; Jackie Mills, of Orlando, Florida Stacy Crawford and Michael Pippin, of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands Angela Crawford, of Owasso Four Sons and daughters-in-law; Richard and Pam Crawford, of Catoosa, Oklahoma Billy G. Jr and Alaina Crawford, of Tulsa Brent and Shelley Crawford, of Owasso Travis and Brooke Crawford, of Owasso Several Grandchildren One Sister; Betty Horn, of Tulsa Two Brothers; Gerald Crawford, of Tulsa Larry Crawford, of Mannford, Oklahoma He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Randy Crawford, and wife, Teresa Crawford.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 24, 2014, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 25, 2014, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Scott Carlson officiating.
