Bradley Allen Moody was born October 27, 1941, in Hartville, Missouri, to Julian Wynn Moody and Edith Lamont Wilcox Moody. He died Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 83 years. Bradley was reared and educated in Springfield, Missouri, and graduated with the Hillcrest High School Class of 1960. He began a distinguished military career with the United States Marine Corp, and retired from the United States Army Guard, of which he was very proud. His honorable service included one year during Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia. His duties included high level strategic and tactical military intelligence. He also excelled with the military rifle team.
Brad was married August 10, 1962, in Springfield, Missouri, to Linda Baker. They had made their home in Owasso, Oklahoma, since 1978, having moved from Tulsa. He spent most of his working life as a tool and die maker. He was a longtime member of the Owasso VFW Post #7180 as well as the American Legion. He was also a member of the Tulsa Red Castle Gun Club. Brad dearly loved his family, especially the grandchildren who affectionately knew him as “Pa”.

Grandchildren; Jarrett Moody and Jax Milam
Brothers; Nolan Moody and Steve Moody
Stepbrother; Marion Kirby and his wife Diana
And a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Tammy Moody, and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2025, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Brandy Milam officiating. Final resting place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
