c-goodsonJon Casey Goodson was born July 13, 1975 in San Francisco, California to Lawrence “Butch” and Marsha Lynn (Combs) Goodson. He died October 6, 2016, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 41 years. Casey graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1994 and then went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma and his Doctorate from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri. He was married April 29, 2006, in Owasso, Oklahoma to Sunita Larrine (Moore) Goodson at Owasso First United Methodist Church. Casey spent most of his working life as a Chiropractor for Goodson Family Chiropractic Center in Owasso after he and Sunny opened the practice in September of 2008.

Casey was very passionate about the City of Owasso and served on the Gathering on Main Planning Committee, Capital Improvements Committee, and the Land Use Master Plan Committee. He was also a member of Pi Kappa Phi Alumni Association.

Casey had a variety of past times and enjoyed watching OU football, collecting Star Wars toys, building and painting War Hammer game pieces, gardening, cooking and enjoying a good bottle of wine, arguing politics, and scheming to make Owasso a better place, but most of all he loved his family.

Children: Wyatt Goodson, Morgan Goodson and  Mariah Goodson all of Owasso
Mother: Marsha Goodson, of Owasso
He was preceded in death by his father, Butch Goodson.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 13, at Owasso First Baptist Church with Chad Balthrop officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso.Serving as casket bearers will be Jason Drake, Hunter Hinkle, Mitch Campbell, Jeremy Thomas, John Nomura, and David Rogers.

The family requests memorial contributions be made in Casey’s memory to the Goodson Family Scholarship fund at First Bank of Owasso. Checks may be made payable to Sunita Goodson with “Goodson Scholarship Fund” on the memo line. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
