Charles “Charlie” Richard Pate was born on February 1, 1945, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Harvey Millard Pate and Mabel Louise (Alexander) Pate. He passed from this life on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at his home in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years. Charlie graduated with the Avant High School Class of 1964. He was then drafted into the United States Army where he served his country honorably in the Vietnam War. Charlie was married on January 19, 1971, in Miami Oklahoma to Rita Lee (Terrell) Pate. He spent most of his working life as the Owner and Manager of Lakeside Terrace Mobile Home and RV Resort in Salina, Oklahoma. In his spare time, Charlie enjoyed a variety of past times such as wood carving, silversmithing, watching Oklahoma Sooners football, fishing, traveling, and watching NASCAR and spending time with his beloved dog Chewe.

Emma Pate, Jaxon Pate, Raylynn Pate, Liam Pate, Kamryn Pirkey, Trinity Massey, and Magnolia Pirkey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Mabel, brother, Larry Pate, and his sisters, Carol Pate and Peggy Pate.
