C A PfeiferCharles (Tiny) Anthony Pfeifer was born April, 22, 1937, in Hayes, Kansas, to Herbert Anthony Pfeifer and O-ttilia Bascilia (Kuhn) Pfeifer. He passed from this life Thursday, November 9, 2017, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 80 years. Charles graduated with the Field Kindley High School Class of 1955 in Coffeyville, Kansas. He then attended class at Kansas State University where he studied Electrical Engineering. He was a veteran of the armed forces having served his country honorably with the United States Army. Charles was married to Donna Jean (Clemons) Pfeifer on February 13, 1960 in Coffeyville, Kansas. He spent much of his working life as manager for IBM (International Business Machines Corporation.) Charles and Donna moved to Owasso in 1982 and attended St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Tulsa up until the past few years when they started attending St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Owasso. Charles enjoyed a variety of pastimes such as golfing, shooting guns at the range with Todd every Friday, and exploring his interest in amateur radio with his call sign being W5SAZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 13, 2017 at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Owasso with Father Matt LaChance and Father Elkin Gonzales officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to Hahn Psych Services for the treatment of Autism, 2816 East. 51st Street Suite 305, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74105. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
