Classic rockers to play The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. – Whether it’s hearing the opening riff to “25 or 6 to 4” or the opening lyrics to “Saturday in the Park,” Chicago’s music is instantly recognizable. On April 18, the classic rockers will perform their vast collection of hits at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa.
Tickets start at $55 and go on sale March 7.
Since their 1969 debut, Chicago has released 22 albums that have sold more than 38 million copies, with five charting at No. 1. Ironically, the band’s top-selling album, 1984’s “Chicago 17,” went platinum six times, yet failed to grab the top spot, peaking at No. 4.
The band has charted 21 singles in the Top 10, including “Call on Me,” “Hard to Say I’m Sorry,” “Will You Still Love Me?” and “Look Away.” The band earned the 1976 Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group for the hit single “If You Leave Me Now.”
Chicago is comprised of numerous musicians, including founding members Robert Lamm, Lee Loughnane, James Pankow and Walter Parazaider, who are all multi-instrumentalists and share vocal duties. Jason Scheff has been the band’s bassist and contributor to vocals since 1985.
