10/10/2019 – The City of Owasso has announced “Free Yard Waste Disposal Month”

That’s right, instead of two Saturdays in November, residents will be able to dispose of yard waste for the entire month of November. The Owasso Yard Waste Disposal site is located at 499 S. Main Street, and will be open Tuesday through Friday from 10:30 am – 5:30 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, (except Thanksgiving Day, and the Friday after Thanksgiving). Lawn clippings, garden plants, leaves, hedge/tree trimmings, and tree limbs up to six inches (6”) in diameter will be accepted. All bagged items must be in clear bags for inspection.

The collected yard waste will be recycled into mulch and will be available to citizens at a later time. Commercial disposal will not be accepted. Residents must present a government-issued ID with an Owasso address and a utility bill or other document available to confirm residency within the Owasso city limits. For additional information, please contact the Public Works Department at 918-272-4959.
