Colby Joseph Tessier was born November 2, 1987, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Douglas Darryl and Tammy Lynn Ellis Tessier. He died Thursday, August 12, 2021, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at the age of 33 years. Colby attended Broken Arrow Public Schools through the 10th grade before completing his high school education and graduating with the Owasso High School Class of 2006. He then attended Tulsa Technology Center for three years where he studied drafting and design. He had faithfully attended Asbury United Methodist Church in Tulsa since his early childhood. Colby enjoyed a variety of pastimes, but was a big-time gamer. He really enjoyed his gaming systems, and he had them all. What he enjoyed most was the time he spent with his close friends. They made a huge impact on his life and always stayed close to help him experience life at its greatest.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Tammy Friday.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso. Final resting place will be at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Associating at www.mda.org . Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
