03/26/2020 – Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a drowning incident occurred on March 25, 2020, at approximately 7:45 pm, at 17331 East 126th St. North, in Rogers County.

Robert O’Donnell, 42, of Collinsville,  was pronounced dead at the scene by members of the Limestone Fire Department. His body was recovered by Limestone Fire Department at approximately 11:23 PM, in approximately 7 feet of water.

Reports state O’Donnell was fishing on a private pond in his boat with a passenger. The vessel started taking on water and capsized, ejecting the operator and passenger into the water. The passenger swam to shore. O’Donnell remained with the vessel, hanging onto it. The passenger advised he heard the operator yell “ouch” and then went underwater and did not resurface.
