10/14/2019 – Owasso, OK – October 14, 2019- Last Wednesday, Congressman Hern visited Rejoice Christian School. He toured the campus and met with student groups for a time of question and answer.
The students at Rejoice Christian School had an opportunity to meet a distinguished guest on Wednesday afternoon. U.S. Congressman Kevin Hern, 1st District, visited the school and toured the school’s campus and visited several classrooms. Hern said he was impressed with the students, the teachers and facilities and reminded students what a privilege it is to live in the greatest country in the world.
Hern met with a 4th-grade class, a 7th-grade class, as well as the Executive Student Council Members and the Officers of the RHS Chapter of NHS. He also took the opportunity to meet with the seniors and captains of the varsity football team. He shared some of his background, encouraged students to work hard toward their goals and dreams, and fielded questions from the students about the government, his job as a Congressman, and his family.

Founded in 1992, Rejoice Christian Schools is accredited through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). This year RCS had another record enrollment with just over 1,000 students. Combined the school system employs over 150 faculty and staff and an average student to teacher ratio of 15:1.
