Spread the love

Coralea BowermanCoralea Bowerman was born September 4, 1940, in Alamo, Indiana, to Leslie Earl Weir and Nora Louise Parish Weir. Her last breath on earth and her first breath of heaven was Thursday March 23, 2023 in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 82. Coralea, or Corky as she was known, was born and raised in Alamo, Indiana, where she grew up with and married her High School sweetheart, Charlie.

Corky loved her Lord God, her family, and the community of Bartlesville. She and Charlie had many moves throughout their life, but spent a majority of their time in Bartlesville and called it home! She was always involved in her daughter’s lives whether it be PTA, Booster Club, or Sport’s Hospitality rooms. In addition, she was committed to and loved the community and took active roles in various committees with her church, the Bartlesville Community Center, Frank Phillips Home, Service League, PEO, Allied Arts, Symphony Club, Mutual Girls Club, Bartlesville School Foundation, to name a few, and her beloved Boys and Girls Club. Corky displayed a servants heart and opened her home with grace and hospitality to everyone. Of all the roles she had, her most cherished was that of Mother and Meme. She was the matriarch of the family and loved having her girls and their families around. They shared many great and fun family vacations, big dinners, and holiday gatherings.

She is at peace in her heavenly home and will be dearly missed by her family:
