Donna Kay Hicks Schexnayder, 55, of Broken Arrow, passed away December 9th, 2021, at home with family by her side.
She was born to AJ and Sarah Hicks, March 14th, 1966, in Jackson, MS.
She married the late Kevin Schexnayder in 1989, and they lived together in Mississippi for 8 years prior to relocating to Oklahoma.
Donna is survived by two children, Nathan, of Tulsa; and Dustan, of Broken Arrow. Donna was predeceased by her loving husband Kevin Schexnayder in 2009.
Donna was a baby teacher at Vision 21 Learning Center in Broken Arrow, OK. She loved caring for and loving her babies. When she was not working, you could find her in her yard tending to her gardens with her two dogs Hershey and Mocha.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday December 15th at 7:30pm at The United Pentecostals of Broken Arrow, OK.
A Homegoing service will be held on Saturday December 18th at 11:00am at the First United Pentecostal Church of Kosciusko, MS. A viewing will be held prior to the service, at 10:00am. She will be buried at Lakewood Memorial Cemetery in Jackson, MS next to her husband Kevin.
