Spread the love
Elizabeth Ann UnruhElizabeth Ann Unruh passed from this life, surrounded by the ones she loved, on December 17, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a loving mother to 5 children who will very confidently say, “Best mother ever.” To know her was to love her, and while she will be missed dearly, she left behind a legacy of memories, loyalty and unconditional love that will always be cherished.
Elizabeth was born on October 12, 1951, in Amarillo, Texas to George Killian and Marguerite (Arnold) Killian. She was raised and educated in Amarillo, Texas and graduated with the Palo Duro High School Class of 1969. While her main focus in life was always family, she also worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Randall High School in Amarillo for over 15 years. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering on her kids as well as her favorite college basketball and football teams. She cared deeply for animals and spent time helping dog rescue shelters. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoyed being outdoors, hiking, watching tv shows about Big Foot and aliens and the unmatched adrenaline of strolling down the clearance aisles at Target. But most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
