Financial Fitness @ Your Library Tuesdays, Oct. 23, 30; Nov. 6, 13, 20, 27 • 6-7 p.m. Do you need help balancing your budget? Don’t know where to start when it comes to investing? Are you ready to become fiscally fit, but need the tools, knowledge and resources to accomplish your goals? Money matters! Learn about budgeting, credit, borrowing, investing and debt in this six-week workshop for ages 16-adult. Dinner is provided. Registration is required. Teen Read Month: Astronomy for Beginners Tuesday, Oct. 16 • 6:30-7:30 p.m. Make a constellation wheel and learn how to use a telescope. We will go outside to look at the moon with the telescopes. If inclement weather, we will set up telescopes inside the meeting room and learn how to use them there. Due to limited materials, registration is required. Teen Read Month: Escape Room – Mad Scientist Tuesday, Oct. 30 • 4-5 p.m. Test your skills and see if you can escape the mad scientist in time! Registration is required. There are two sessions: 4-4:30 p.m. and 4:45- 5:15 p.m. Please attend only one session. A maximum of 15 teens/tweens will be in each session. Register each teen/tween individually. Build A Reader Storytime: Babies and Toddlers Tuesdays, Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 • 10-10:25 a.m. Tuesdays, Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 • 10:30-10:55 a.m. Ready, set, READ! This beginning storytime focuses on helping your baby or toddler develop important literacy skills while emphasizing the fun of reading. For ages birth-2.

Build A Reader: Stay and Play Tuesdays, Oct. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 • 11-11:25 a.m. For babies, toddlers and preschoolers, playing is learning! Join us for games, toys and activities that foster your child’s early literacy skills. 

Build A Reader Storytime: Preschool/Stay and Play Wednesdays, Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 10:30-11:25 a.m. The best in children’s literature, songs, games, finger plays, rhymes and other reading-related activities are shared with your preschooler. Stay after storytime for games, toys and activities that foster your child’s early literacy skills. 

LEGO Lab Monday, Oct. 22 • 2-3 p.m. Need something to do on Fall Break? Join us for LEGO building fun! LEGOs will be provided. For ages 5-10.

PAWS for Reading Wednesday, Oct. 24 • 4-5 p.m. Registered therapy dogs are excellent listeners. Elementary-school kids are invited to read their favorite books to a furry, four-pawed friend. Each reader will receive a free book provided by the Raymond and Bessie Kravis Foundation through the Tulsa Library Trust. Registration is required. Build A Reader Storytime: Family – Bedtime Stories Thursday, Oct. 25 • 6:30-7 p.m. Bring the whole family for this 0-to-5 storytime! There’s something for everyone – simple songs and books for the little ones, more interactive stories and activities for your older children. Children are welcome to wear their pajamas!

Preschool Yoga Friday, Oct. 26 • 10:30-11 a.m. Join certified yoga teacher Jeanne Doss for a free parent/child class featuring interactive stories and yoga poses. For ages 3-5. Class size is limited.
