A FUN DAY dubbed as September Challenge has been planned for Friday, September 27 at the Owasso Community Center by the Golden Agers, hosts of the adult program held there. Pictured is Ok Cha who won the Designer Challenge earlier this year during spring’s Fun Day.
Fred Moll served as a referee to assist each team as they participated. 
This will be the third event of this kind. The event was originally planned as part of OPEN HOUSE activities so that area residents could come and learn about the activities held at the Center.
Fun Day kicks off at 9 am and consists of several games played by teams in which participants will compete for points. It’s a race throughout the day to see which team will score the most points. Competitiveness is fierce with some team leaders ready to resort to all kinds of motivation including cheerleading to encourage their team to do their very best. A Potluck Lunch will be served at 11 am. Members of the community are welcome to see the activities in action and experience the Golden Agers live, laugh and love their way through life.
