Gertrude “Gert” Mae Langford was born on December 2, 1957, at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Oka, Tamuning, Guam to Robert John Hambright and Clara (Fielder) Paxton. She passed from this life on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at her home in Collinsville, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years. Gert was raised and educated in various cities around the United States with her family as her dad served in the military. She was married on November 2, 2000, in Montego Bay, Jamaica to David L. Langford. Gert spent most of her working life as a salesperson with Cisco Eagle material handling and L&M Office Furniture. She had most recently been attending First Baptist Church in Owasso where she was active with The Mission. In her spare time, Gert enjoyed a variety of past times such as crafting, camping, fishing, and taking care of her rescue dogs, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
