Gilbert Ted DennyGilbert Ted Denny was born April 3, 1930, in Nicut, Oklahoma to Harve H. Denny and Loice (Keen) Denny. He died Friday, December 13, 2019, in Claremore, Oklahoma, at the age of 89 years. Gilbert was raised and educated in Nicut and attended Muldrow High School. After high school he enlisted and served his country honorably in the United States Army. He spent most of his working life as a plumber with American Airlines for 17 years. Gilbert was married in Uniontown, Arkansas on May 7, 1949 to Saundra “Marlene” (Bernard) Denny. Gilbert enjoyed a variety of past times such as woodworking, training horses, painting, and playing music.

George Washington Denny and wife Joann, of Broken Arrow
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harve and Loice, brother, Euil, daughter, Denise, and son, Hank.

 

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at Eastland Assembly in Tulsa with Pastor Winston Shaffer officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Seabolt Cemetery in Nicut, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
