Spread the love

10/19/2018 – Last year, hundreds and hundreds of you helped make this grandmothers dream come true.  Can we do it two years in a row?

In October of last year, we reported that due to  a long driveway, and a house that sits far back off the roadway, in twenty-five years Charlotte Helscel had never had a single trick-or-treater.  In turn, in past years her family would take her along for the ride,  to enjoy trick-or-treating with her grandchildren.

Last year, Mrs. Helscel’s granddaughter, Anndrea Loker sent Owassoisms a message, asking if we might be able to help give her a first, and Owasso area citizens did not disappoint. All evening long, hundreds of you lined the long residential drive, giving her an amazing trick-or-treat experience, and blessing her with a memory she will never forget.

Again this year, Anndrea would love to give her grandmother the same experience, she writes:

Grandma had so much fun and was so blessed by the community of Owasso last year that she wants to do it again!! She has been busy getting ready for all the trick-or-treaters! Come make our grandma’s year! Drive thru trick-or-treating will be from 5-7:30. Please enter through the gates on 145th. No vehicles over 7ft due to bridge height restrictions
Charlotte’s house is located on the northwest corner of 96th and 145th in Owasso.  Enter for drive through trick-or-treating through the gate on 145th Street.  You wont miss it.

Charlotte is looking forward to seeing all the smiling faces on Halloween night.  Your visit is sure to bring a big smile to her face as well.
