Helen Joyce NobleHelen Joyce Noble was born September 6, 1930, in Picher, Oklahoma, to William Loy Guthrie and Bess Mullin Guthrie. She went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, August 22, 2022, at the age of 91 years. Joyce was married March 11, 1956, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Elmer Noble. She spent most of her working life as a homemaker and caring for her family. She was a strong woman of faith and was a member of Trinity Holiness Assembly of God in Owasso, Oklahoma, former Mingo Holiness Assembly of God. She loved her church and her church family. She was an avid reader, particularly love stories, and had shelves and bookcases of books. She enjoyed canning both fruits and vegetables. Joyce excellent quilter and made many quilts for her family and friends. She dearly loved her family and particularly fond of her role of “Memaw”.
 
Those she leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include:
Her son and daughter in law; Glenn and Sheila Noble, of Owasso, Oklahoma
Grandchildren; Kimberly Marie Noble and fiancé John Williams, of Tulsa, Oklahoma
Kevin Allan Noble, of Tulsa, Oklahoma
Great granddaughter; Lily Marie Noble
Sister; Loy Lea Dundom and husband Mick, of Collinsville, Oklahoma
And a host friends, relatives, and her church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Elmer Noble, brothers, Harold Guthrie, Freddy Guthrie, and Donvil Guthrie, and two sisters, Ione Carson, and Jennie Mae Morris.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 26, 2022, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Reverend James Brown officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Joyce’s memory to Porta Caeli House, 2440 North Harvard Avenue, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74115. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
