Spread the love
Rhonda Botts

Insurance—we all have to have it. And Agent Rhonda Botts, CIC, of Hometown Insurance  in Owasso offers almost any type for every need including personal and business (auto, home, motorcycle, boat, RV, mobile homes, general liability, property and workers’ compensation to name a few).

Botts says with Hometown Insurance you have the advantage of choice.  “I used to work for one of the ‘name brand’ companies, and it’s frustrating to only have one choice,” she says. “We offer choice! We represent the insured and help them choose the best coverage and company for them.”

Her carriers include, but are not limited to, Hartford, MetLife, Hanover, Safeco (a division of Liberty Mutual), Republic, Travelers, C.N.A., Mercury and many more. On the business coverage side, Hometown’s specialty includes insuring a variety of businesses such as restaurants, offices, retail stores, contractors, trucking companies, real estate, homeowners associations, pest control services, manufacturing companies, etc.

Botts started out in insurance on the company side servicing policies, and then worked her way up to a claims adjuster for five states. After taking an 11-year break to raise her children, earning a teaching degree and instructing 6th grade science in Owasso for seven years, she went back to insurance as an agent. She has now owned her own business for 11 years.

As a hometown girl—she and her whole family graduated from Owasso High School—Botts quickly realized Owasso was where her business needed to be. “It’s my home,” she says. “I love the people here, and the values that are demonstrated by its people. I had my office in Broken Arrow for several years, but finally came to the conclusion that I didn’t have to be in a big town to be successful; so I moved my office back home.”

Botts shares those same values that drew her business back to Owasso. “We run our business with honesty and integrity,” she says. “I’d like the opportunity to see if we can help you on your insurance. If we can’t, we will tell you so. No high pressure! We are interested in a long-term relationship—not a short-term sell.”

Botts’ tagline sums up what Hometown Insurance is all about. “Hometown Insurance—where we help you plan for the worst and pray for the best!”
