Jean Ann JohnsonJean Ann Johnson was born January 4, 1944, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Robert Steadman Campbell and Betty Mae Stoner Campbell. She died Monday, March 13, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 79. Jean was reared and educated in Tulsa and graduated with the Thomas Edison High School Class of 1962. She worked many years as a dispatcher/scalehouse operator with Anchor Stone as well as being the co-owner of Johnson Machine. Jean enjoyed a variety of pastimes, especially being with her family and following their sporting events. She also enjoyed going to Oklahoma State Cowboy football games. Jean enjoyed her music and was an avid fan of Neal McCoy, going to many of his shows and dragging her family with her all across the Midwest. She was never cut short of having a good time whether at a concert, going to the casino, or taking a trip to Las Vegas. Jean dearly loved her family and was particularly fond of her role as G-Ma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gene Johnson, and mother-in-law, Mildred Statini.
 
Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 20, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso, with viewing one hour prior to service. Serving as casket bearers will be Bobby Selvy, Michael Johnson, Robby Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Justin Johnson, and Deacon Blackmon. Committal service and interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso, Oklahoma. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Jean’s memory to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105, or www.stjude.org .
