Jean C. Baker was born February 10, 1932 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma to Eli Collins and Mandy Rena (Harris) Collins. She passed from this life on Monday, November 26, 2018, in Skiatook, Oklahoma, at the age of 86 years. Jean was raised and educated in Barnsdall and later earned her GED from Owasso High School. She was married on February 10, 1973 in Miami, Oklahoma to Kenneth Wayne Baker. Jean spent most of her working as a Nurse’s Assistant and worked for St. John Medical Center in Tulsa for 6 years. After retiring she helped as a machinest at Kenny’s Machine Shop for almost 23 years. Jean had a variety of pastimes such as painting and baking ceramics, fishing for Crappie, traveling, watching fireworks, and testing her luck at the casino.

Janet Reiche and husband Doyle, of Norman, Oklahoma
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eli and Rena, son, Jesse, and 11 siblings.
