Jean DuvallNorma “Jean” Duvall was born on October 1, 1935 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Elmer Jefferson Renfro and Romaie Mae (Nichols) Renfro. She passed from this life on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at her home in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years. Jean was raised and educated in Tulsa and graduated with the Central High School Class of 1954. She was married on August 11, 1954 in Tulsa to James Berry Duvall. Jean spent most of her working life as a payroll clerk with Sun Oil in Tulsa for 23 years. She was a charter member and longtime faithful member of Eastwood Baptist Church in Tulsa for over forty years and has spent the last twenty years as a member of First Baptist Church in Owasso. Jean was a member of her Tuesday ladies’ group who proudly referred to themselves as the Holy Hags. She enjoyed a variety of past times such as quilting, solving crossword puzzles, traveling, watching reality tv, and playing Bejeweled.

14 Grandchildren;
Lauren, James, David, John, Mark, Tyler, Michael, Emily, Katie, Lyndsey, Sarah, Hannah, Trey, and Daniel.
16 Great Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Romaie, brother, Elmer Jr., sister, Doris, husband James, and son in law, Franklin “D.”

Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2021 at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Chris Wall officiating. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service.
