Jeannie Raines GarrisonJeannie Raines Garrison was born February 24, 1939, in Garvin, Oklahoma, to Erban Thomas and Carmen Todd Pittman. She died Tuesday, February 26, 2019, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, at the age of 80 years. She was married July 3, 1953, to Marvin Dwayne Raines. He preceded her in death October 4, 1991. She later married April 17, 1998, in Miami, Oklahoma, to Jim Garrison. In her early years, Jeannie worked with Zebco, but mostly spent her working life as a homemaker and caring for her family. She was also very active as a minister, primarily with Gospel News World Outreach originally in Bixby, then most recently in Sand Springs. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes, especially sewing, ceramics, and working with crafts. She loved to read and was a faithful student of the Bible. She loved her family dearly and cherished her role as mom and Nana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Marvin, twin daughters who passed at birth, and two brothers, Thomas Gerald Pittman, and Steven Lloyd Pittman.
 
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 28, 2019, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2019, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Steve Talbert officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Scott Graves, Danny Graves, A.J. Graves, Michael Graves, Ray Graves, and Duane Douglas. Honorary casket bearers will be Adam Munds and Chris Crawford. Committal service and interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Owasso, Oklahoma. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
