Larry Wayne LandesLarry Wayne Landes was born on November 11, 1948 in Billings, Oklahoma to Wayne Orville Landes and Helen (McGrew) Max. He died on Monday, November 2, 2020 at his home in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years. Larry was raised and educated in Ponca City, Oklahoma and graduated with the Ponca City High School Class of 1967. After high school he attended classes at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, Oklahoma and served in the United States Navy. Larry spent most of his working life at Zales Jewelers and as a facilities manager with Bank of the West in Ponca City. He was a member of the VFW Post and the Elks Lodge. In his spare time, Larry enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities such as boating, manicuring his lawn, and playing in a Wednesday night men’s golf league at Wentz. He loved the Oklahoma State Cowboys, and is probably best known for his gift of entertainment through singing and playing his guitar.

8 Grandchildren;
Jordan – 20, Cason – 14, AJ – 14, Caleb – 13, Cohen – 11, Paisley – 4, Kyson – 4, and Emery – 22 months.
Sister;
Judy Wood of Ponca City

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Helen, and brother, Randy.
