funderal-flowers-9647_200x200Leeila Craig was born March 9, 1919 in Marble City, Okla. She passed from this life on April 13, 2014 at Baylor Hospital in Carrollton, Texas.
Leeila was the sixth child of 11 children (5 daughters and 6 sons) of Mitchell Mullins and Parkie Louise (Estep Smith) Mullins. 
A long-time resident of the Bristow and Depew area, Leeila moved to Bristow with her sister Louise Mullins in 1935 to live with her aunt, Louisa Davidson, and attend Bristow High School.
She married Cecil Clark on Aug. 30, 1938, with one of the last charivaris down Main Street complete with a serenade with pans, pots and kettles. They were the parents of two children, Patricia Lee Clark and Wayne Clark.
After the death of Cecil Clark in 1965, she married George Craig. She and George farmed and ranched outside of Depew from 1982 until 1995, when she moved to Owasso.
Leeila worked at the Bristow Garment Factory from 1949 until her retirement as a floor supervisor in 1982. 
She was beloved and revered by her family always serving fresh coffee and a meal, cake or pie to whomever showed up at her door. She awakened everyone with a traditional “Good Morning Merry Sunshine.” Always close to her grandchildren, she called herself “Grandma Grunt.”

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Parkay Mullins; her daughter, Patricia Lee Clark (1959); her first husband, Cecil Clark (1965) and her second husband, George Craig (1997).
She is survived by her son Wayne Clark of Owasso; seven grandchildren, Robert Haywood of Apache Junction, Arizona; Wendy Pickering of Owasso, Cynthia and husband Randy Low of The Colony, Texas, Madison and husband Matt Finch of Sugar Land, Texas, Angela and husband Don Myers of Paducah, Ky., John and wife Cassie Clark of Tulsa; and Paul Clark of Topeka, Kan.; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

 
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at Magnolia Cemetery in Bristow, Okla. Pastor Nathan Wood of Stroud will be officiating. Arrangements are being handled through the Mowery Funeral Home in Owasso, OK.
