Manisa Loretta Wooldridge was born August 10, 1926, in Hubbard, Texas, to Dillard Haskell and Ola Pearl (Allcorn) Baker. She passed from this life Tuesday, April 25, 2017, in Claremore, Oklahoma, at the age of 90 years. Loretta was raised and educated in Hubbard and graduated with the Hubbard High School Class of 1944. She was married October 12, 1945, in Hubbard to Harold Duncan Wooldridge. Loretta spent most of her working life as a Homemaker raising her eight children. She was a faithful and active member of Maranatha Baptist Temple in Collinsville, Oklahoma. Loretta enjoyed many pastimes, but mostly teaching Children’s Church and Sunday School, and writing poetry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dillard and Ola Pearl Baker, husband, Harold Wooldridge, 7 Brothers, Eddie, Alvie, Payne, Clyde, Boyce, Marvin, and Sherman Baker, 4 sons, Donald, Gene, Gary, and Joe Harold Wooldridge, grandson, Phillip Wooldridge, and 2 great grandchildren, Duncan Wooldridge and Braylee Ann Burnett.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Mowery Funeral Service. Funeral Service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday April 29, 2017 at Wade Funeral Home in Hubbard, Texas with Visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Hubbard, Texas. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made on memory of Loretta Wooldridge to Maranatha Baptist Temple Missions Fund, 12602 N Memorial Dr., Collinsville, OK 74021 or flowers to be sent to Wade Funeral Home in Hubbard, Texas, 201 NW 3rd St, Hubbard, TX 76648. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
