Marlene Sue Keys was born October 25, 1939, in Springfield, Missouri, to Henry Clay and Naomi Beulah (Winters) Bradley. She died Friday, January 31, 2014, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 74 years. Marlene was reared in Springdale, Arkansas, moved to Owasso at the age of 16, and graduated with the Owasso High School Class of 1957. She was married September 2, 1960, in Owasso to Jerry Douglas Keys. Marlene worked five years with Mid Continent and three years with Blue Cross and Blue Shield before beginning her 22 yearcareer as a clerk with the Owasso Tag office, retiring in 1999. She had been a faithful member of Central Baptist Church in Owasso since 1988. She had also served as the voter registrar. Marlene enjoyed a variety of pastimes including sewing, crocheting, cross-stitching, and scrapbooking. She also enjoyed music, reading, and traveling. Her family was most important and she loved to cook for family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Keys, brother, Clifford Bradley, and sister, Wanda Hart Adair.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2014, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral services will be held 11:00 Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at Central Baptist Church in Owasso with Pastor Scott Carlson officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Fred Hampton, Wade Keys, Scott Graybill, Brian Murano, Keenan Threadgill, and Travis Winsby. Honorary casket bearers will be Justin Keys, Gavin Hampton, and Kenny Bradley. Committal services and interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Central Baptist Church Youth Ministry, 9001 North 145th East Avenue, Owasso, Oklahoma, 74055. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
