MediTox Wellness of Owasso

The opioid epidemic affects millions of Americans. Since 1999, more than 760,000 people have died from a drug overdose, according to the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services. Fortunately, amidst the ongoing crisis, the Owasso area has a local facility to help people break free from this devastating addiction.
MediTox Wellness has served the Owasso community for over 15 years, offering treatment for opioid addiction.“Our clinic has helped hundreds of people reclaim their lives and rebuild relationships that have been destroyed while under the influence of these drugs,” says Anthony Bostic, RN, and clinical director of MediTox Wellness. “Even with our success, there are still many more people either fighting the grips of these drugs or family members watching loved ones fade into someone else due to these powerful drugs. ”MediTox was founded by Dr. Stephen Kovacs who also owned Urgent Care of Green Country. Bostic took over ownership of his MediTox practice four years ago. Since then, Dr. H. Dwight Hardy has been the medical director overseeing the practice. Dr. Hardy succeeded Dr. Kovacs after he retired four years ago to date. Dr. Hardy brings over 40 years of primary and surgical experience to MediTox Wellness of Owasso.“Urgent Care was one of the main anchors for health care for after hours when you needed care or when you could not visit your PCP,” Bostic explains. “Dr. Kovacs incorporated Green Country Meditox after noticing patients needed help getting off these dangerous drugs we call opioids. … That is where my journey started, working with MediTox 15 years ago.”Typical clients of MediTox include those looking to get their life back together without judgment.“We operate a no-judgment zone in the clinic,” Bostic says. “It’s not our job to judge or stereotype any client who walks through the door. We realize the toughest decision any person has to make is the decision to say, ‘I have a problem with addiction.’
”In addition to addiction services, MediTox offers LiquIVida IV therapy to replenish, rehydrate and revitalize with a combination of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, along with vitamin B12 injections. “Why wait until you get sick? Combat sickness with B12 injections and IV therapy. We offer different therapies to suit anyone’s needs,” Bostic says.
As we head into 2023, MediTox is proud to continue supporting the Owasso and surrounding communities as many people resolve to improve the quality of their lives.“Let us help you or your loved ones in the fight against these drugs,” Bostic says. “We have worked hard to provide a relaxed, safe, nonjudgmental environment for our patients. Just remember: these drugs do not discriminate against their users, nor do we.
Give us a call today. We would love to help you regain your life back.”MediTox Wellness is located at 10314 N. 138th E. Ave., Suite 101.
