N M AdamsNeva M. Adams was born September 23, 1951, in Ulysses, Kansas, to Sterlin Giles and H. Catheryn Ringle Hale. She died Sunday, February 11, 2018, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 66 years. Neva completed her secondary education in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Bartlesville Sooner High School Class of 1969. She completed her education attending the University of Tulsa. She was married July 10, 1982, in Topeka, Kansas, to Wyatt Lee Adams. They had made their home in the Owasso area since 1991. Neva spent much of her working life as a programmer for American Airlines and then as a tax assistant helping Wyatt with their business, Adams Accounting. She later worked for H & J Accounting in Collinsville, Oklahoma. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes, especially horseback riding and caring for her horses. She was a member of the Owasso Round-Up Club and was active with Cowgirl Up Riding Club and Friends of Prague Lake Riding Girls. She also enjoyed just spending time working on and around her house.

Those she leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include:
Her daughter; Whitney Adams and her husband Daniel Beatty III, of Portsmouth, Virginia
Brother; Bill Hale and his wife Barbara, of Glencoe, Oklahoma
Mother; Cathryn Ringle, of Parsons, Kansas,
Nieces and nephews; Grace Fozdar, Sterlin Hale, Sarah Adams, and Billy Adams
And her faithful dogs; Lily and Rose
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wyatt, and her son, Ryan Adams.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 10:00 Friday, February 16, 2018, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Mike Blake and Pastor Bill Hale officiating. Committal service and interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. The family requests memorial contributions be made to I’m Your Huckleberry Dog Rescue, P.O. Box 62, Pineville, Missouri, 64856. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
