A $1.8 million project to rehabilitate the 36th St. North bridge over US-169 in Tulsa is scheduled to begin Monday, Dec. 12. Delays can be expected at this interchange and drivers are urged to plan ahead for extra travel time in this area.

The project will focus on patching areas of the bridge deck and also making substructure repairs. The cloverleaf ramps at the interchange will close Monday morning and are expected to remain closed through February 2017. However the longer entrance and exit ramps at 36th St. North will remain open as a detour. Delays may occur on the frontage roads and drivers might also consider an alternate route such as the interchange at US-169/46th St. North.

The overall project is expected to complete in late spring 2017.
