Norma-Dopps-1529058589Norma Jean Dopps was born December 5, 1929, in Southwest City, Missouri, to Haskell Moore and Mable Bell Simon. She died Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 88 years. Jean was reared and educated in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and graduated with the Webster High School Class of 1948. She spent most of her working life as supervisor with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company before retiring in 1986. She had attended First Christian Church in Owasso. Jean enjoyed a variety of pastimes including ceramics. She really enjoyed racing, both micro midget car racing and motorcycle racing.

Those she leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include:
Son and daughter-in-law; Randy and Linda Dopps, of Liberty, Missouri
Daughter and son-in-law; Darla and Larry Moody, of Collinsville, Oklahoma
Two grandchildren, two step grandchildren, two great grandchildren, four step great grandchildren.
Sister and brother-in-law; Iola and Norman Arnold, of Overland Park, Kansas
Brother and sister-in-law; Fred and Sue Moore, of Van Buren, Arkansas
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bob Simon, and grandson, David Medlin.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2018, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso with Pastor Phillip Hudson officiating. Final resting place will be at Graceland Memorial Park Cemetery in Owasso. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
