There is no doubt that these two are meant to be together.

They say a cat has nine lives. One of this cats lives is surely meant to be lived in Owasso, Oklahoma.

03/21/2018 – Brittnie Clemens remembered the video Owassoisms shared a few months back about Madden, an Owasso student who created the video about bullying. The video quickly went viral. She gave us a call to see if we could help her help his family, in a totally different way.  Madden recorded the video (below),  as his personal differences were causing him bullying issues in school.

Madden was born with a cleft lip, and has had many surgeries to get him to the point he is at today. He also facing more surgeries in the future.

Brittnie is friends with the Humphrey family and knows it’s been a hard journey, but through it all, he and his family have remained strong and faithful.

Because they have been through so much,  she wanted to give them a little help.

The Humphrey’s found a cat in Minnesota. Not your ordinary cat, but one that not only has a cleft lip like Madden, but also has complete heterochromia iridium (different colored eyes) just like Madden. Brittnie writes, “That’s so insanely rare for any living thing to have BOTH! These two are meant to be together.  This family would be such a good home for this kitty, and he would be the perfect companion for Madden.”

This cat has the potential to act like a therapy pet, and make a kid feel less alone in the world.  Brittnie is wanting to help fund their expenses for the trip.

The Humphrey’s have been approved for adoption, but the rescue doesn’t allow pet transport. They will need to pick him up.  It’s a 30 hour round trip drive, so Brittnie is wanting to help fund their expenses for the trip. All of the money raised will go directly to the family to fund their trip, and what’s left over will go to help fund Madden’s next surgery.
