Katherine Westfall was born August 6, 1931, at Perkins, Oklahoma, to John Albert and Velma Louise (Williams) Riley. She died Friday, October 25, 2013, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 82 years. Katherine was married November 11, 1948, in Perkins, Oklahoma, and moved to Owasso in 1953 where she has made her home since that time. She spent most of her working life as a dietitian with St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She and Ben were charter members of Central Baptist Church in Owasso. He preceded her in death December 2010. She enjoyed a variety of pastimes includinggardening, cooking, sewing, crocheting, and especially quilting.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Central Baptist Church of Owasso with Pastor Kevin Laufer officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Alex Westfall, Riley Westfall, Steve Holcomb, Brian Heard, Brandon Westfall, and Chuck Scott. Committal services and interment will follow at Lone Elm Cemetery in Claremore, Oklahoma. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 9001 North 145th East Avenue, Owasso, Oklahoma, 74055. Arrangements and services were entrusted to Mowery Funeral Service of Owasso.
