Rachel Carol Stolz was born June 28, 1966, in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Roger Stanley Almond and Belle “Jean” (Keithley) Almond.
 
She passed from this life on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at her home in Owasso, Oklahoma at the age of 57 years.
 
Rachel was raised and educated in Bryant, Arkansas and graduated with the Bryant High school Class of 1984. She went on to attend the University of Central Arkansas, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Special Education. She spent most of her working life teaching Special Education for 22 years at Lowell Elementary in Lowell, Arkansas and Bailey Elementary in Owasso. In July 2011, Rachel decided to pursue her love of dogs and opened her own business as owner and dog groomer at Bring Your Own Dog Grooming, Boarding and Playcare in Owasso.
 
She was married on January 1, 2014, in Owasso to John Raymond Stolz, Jr. Rachel was a faithful member of New Heights Church in Owasso. In her spare time, she enjoyed sunning on any beach, road tripping on backroads, visiting hole in the wall diners, enjoying a glass of wine on the back porch, playing cards, playing chicken foot, and playing her favorite slot machine, “Invaders from Planet Moolah,” and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Stanley and Lou Ella Almond, maternal grandparents, Joseph Edison and Hallie Mae Keithley, father, Roger Stanley Almond, and her brother, David Rutledge Almond.
