Update 06/27/2016 11:40:42  Oklahoma Highway Patrol released the name of the woman killed when an auto theft suspect crashed into her car during a pursuit Sunday morning. She was identified as 64-year-old Owasso resident Etoyce Johnson.

 

7:30pm Update: Trooper Dwight Durant identified the suspect as Blake Lee Ferguson, 32. The identity and age of the victim wasn’t immediately available Sunday evening.

11:55:52 06/26/2016  OHP is reporting the the female driver hit by suspect has died.

06/26/2016  Breaking: Just before 10am this morning Oklahoma Highway Patrol was in pursuit of a vehicle in Tulsa, which went northbound on Mingo from 36th Street North. Radio traffic indicated that speed were reaching over 100mph.

The pursuit continued north on Mingo and ended at 76th Street North in Owasso when the suspects truck hit another vehicle, with both going down the embankment on the north side of 76th Street North.

The innocent driver was trapped for approximately 15 minutes before being extracted by Owasso Fire. They were then transported emergency status to a Tulsa hospital. The suspect driver complained of back pain and was transported to a local hospital, then a Tulsa hospital for treatment.
