OHP arrested trooper

Oklahoma City- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirms their arrest of state trooper Eric Roberts. Investigators with the patrol announced today they have completed their investigation and found enough evidence to move forward with criminal charges.

State Troopers took Roberts into custody this morning at his residence and transported him to the Creek County jail where he faces formal charges of kidnapping and sexual assault crimes.

The Chief of Patrol Colonel Rick Adams will convene a news conference today at 12:30 PM at the Robert R. Lester Training Center located at OHP Headquarters; 3600 Martin Luther King Boulevard in Oklahoma City.
