The Oklahoma Olympics is an event in its second year, that showcases all special needs athletes in Oklahoma. This event is designed to allow ANY special needs athlete the ability to compete. The event was held at the Owasso High School track on Sunday, October 27.

Events included Bocce ball, Softball throw, Standing long jump, 50yard dash and 100 yard dash.

There is no cost to participate for any special needs athletes.

The event was first held in June of 2012, as an opportunity for special needs athletes to compete and play 5 events. There were over 60 special needs athletes and twice as many volunteers that participated.
