Ola Francis Goyer was born on June 28, 1934, in Salina, Oklahoma to James
Walter Haley and Willie (Blevins) Haley. She passed from this life on Saturday,
January 28, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years. She was a graduate
with the Central High School Class of 1953 in Tulsa. Ola was married on June 28,
1952, in Tulsa to Gordon “Dale” Goyer. She spent most of her work career,
about 25 years, with Yours by Design, a family owned business working with
numerous interior design firms in the Tulsa area. Ola had been a faithful member
of Central Baptist Church in Owasso, Oklahoma after moving to Owasso in 2010.
She was passionate about children and taught with children’s ministries at various
churches throughout her life. In her spare time, Ola enjoyed sewing, quilting,
going through photo albums, and spending time with her family on their ranch.

She was preceded in death by her son Carey, parents, James and Willie, ten brothers, Wade,
Ralph, Homer, Ray, Johnnie, Lawrence, Lonzo, Cecil, Burnice, Mickey, and three
sisters, Cleta, Jaunita, and Edna Earl.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023, at Central Baptist Church in Owasso.
Graveside service and interment will be held 1:30 p.m. at Ross Mayes Cemetery in Salina, Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ola’s memory to Central Baptist Church
in Owasso or a charity of your choice.
